Redpines’ Expertise Delivers Name Recognition and More for Alliance Memory

When Alliance Memory set out to grow name recognition for its company and products through the trade press, it quickly learned that the legacy IC business comes with a unique set of challenges. As the company discovered, editors are looking to cover the latest products – not legacy ones – so reaching their audience through standard design-in articles wasn’t an option. Alliance Memory needed help in orchestrating a program to raise their visibility in a very niche market on a tight budget. The company turned to the expertise of Redpines.

Redpines developed a low-cost strategy for promoting Alliance Memory and its legacy products, which it delivered on by establishing a social media presence for the company, writing case studies, and distributing newsworthy press releases. In addition, Redpines brainstormed creative topics for articles that were featured in key trade publications.

Going beyond PR, Redpines helped Alliance Memory in the design and development of its website and assisted in planning for electronica 2012. For the tradeshow, Redpines prepared and distributed a show product preview for Alliance Memory, designed the company’s tradeshow posters, and developed strategies for generating sales leads at its booth. To help Alliance Memory keep in touch with its customer base, Redpines was instrumental in establishing the company’s quarterly newsletter.

From the Customer

“We’ve seen amazing results since teaming up with Redpines. Our name is frequently appearing in influential magazines, including an opinion piece from our CEO in an electronica pre-show publication,” said Dan Gilbert, vice president of sales at Alliance Memory. “We’ve been impressed with the consistent flow of information coming out about us and our products through our PR program and newsletter, which has become quite popular with our customers. And Redpines’ design work is outstanding. Our posters for electronica were very eye catching and helped provide us with a high-impact presence at the show.”
